Senior high school students under the tutelage of Prof. Marian Mae Montero held Chemilandia – a one day chemistry exhibit with the theme “Chemistry Magic: Not Just a Trick”. The event was held May 9 of this year from 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Students from sections Leviticus, Matthew, Mark and John performed chemistry “magic” in front of random spectators. Aside from the exhibit, the event also included a Chemistry Show and Quiz Bee which covered topics on Chemistry 1 and 2.
The goal of the event is to help students visualize, appreciate, and apply science concepts in real – life activities.
