
On the last day of January 2023, the AMCC workers gathered at the MPH to celebrate the birthday of the January celebrants, welcome the new denominational and institutional workers, and to say their farewell wishes to Ma’am Phyllis Yvonne Queruela.

The program comprised 4 parts with the first being a short devotional by the chaplaincy office. The devotional commenced with an opening song led by Mrs. Ell Jane Aque and Ptr. Rowell Selgas’ opening prayer. Prior to the message of Ptr. Algir Silang, Ma’am Emalyn Tabaranza – the college choir director, rendered a special song. The closing song and prayer then followed.
The second part of the program is for the wishes and giving of tokens to the January birthday celebrants:

Each of the celebrants received an umbrella that bears the AMCC logo.

A part of the program is set for Ma’am Phyllis Yvonne Queruela to receive well wishes from friends, especially from the Business Office. Ma’am Queruela, known to the rest of the workers as Ma’am Sweet, and her twin sons will join her husband in New Zealand.


The closing remark was given by the very dynamic and supportive college president, Dr. Bobby M. Asis. In his message, he expressed his gratitude for Ma’am Sweet’s service to the college. A dedicatory prayer led by Ptr Roger Lopez, the VP for Student Affairs, then followed.
The third part of the program is for physical fitness. The Faculty and Staff Association president invited a fitness instructor Ms. Zin Helena.
After the envigorating activity, foods were served.
