AMCC continues its commitment to making a positive impact in the community through its recent community outreach program. From June 11 to 12, 2023, the Administrators, Physical Therapy faculty, and the community extension service joined hands to extend helping hands to the SULADS Comprehensive High School for the Lumads (SCHSL) in Sto. Domingo, Lumintao, Quezon, Bukidnon.

The outreach program aimed to provide support and assistance to the faculty and students of SCHSL, who are working tirelessly to provide quality education to the Lumad community. AMCC, driven by its values of compassion and service, donated essential items to help alleviate some of the challenges faced by the school and its community.
During the outreach program, AMCC donated 11 sacks of rice, providing sustenance to the students and faculty of SCHSL. Additionally, the college supplied 100 pieces of intermediate pads, notebooks, ball pens, and assorted clothing items, aiming to enhance the learning experience and overall well-being of the students.
Recognizing the need for continued support, AMCC also extended a monetary donation of Php8,000 pesos to Mr. Solomon Olantao, the principal of SCHSL. This donation is intended to contribute to the school’s Boy’s Dormitory project, ensuring a safe and conducive environment for the students’ growth and development.
The outreach program at SCHSL exemplified AMCC’s dedication to social responsibility and community engagement. By actively participating in projects that uplift underprivileged communities, AMCC strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
The collaboration between AMCC and SCHSL highlights the importance of partnerships in fostering positive change. The administrators, Physical Therapy faculty, and community extension service of AMCC worked closely together, pooling their resources and expertise to ensure the success of the outreach program.
The AMCC community takes immense pride in the success of the community outreach program and recognizes the collective efforts that made it possible. The dedication and commitment of the administrators, faculty, and community extension service were instrumental in organizing and executing a program that made a tangible impact on the lives of the Lumad students and faculty.
