In a significant step toward improving student services and campus infrastructure, AMCC has formally acquired the Oliverio Apartment Building, which will soon be converted into additional dormitory rooms for its growing student community. The ceremonial ribbon cutting was held yesterday, November 18, 2025, within the halls of the newly acquired building.

The event was spearheaded by the institution’s administrators, led by AMCC President Dr. Bobby Asis and Vice President for Operations Mr. Edgardo Torniado. Both leaders expressed gratitude for this new milestone and emphasized how the acquisition reflects AMCC’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, accessible, and comfortable living spaces for its students.

Several faculty and staff members who were free from class schedules at the time attended the ceremony, showing their support for this important development. Their presence demonstrated the unity and shared excitement within the AMCC community as the institution continues to expand its facilities.
During the program, Dr. Asis highlighted the importance of the new dormitory spaces in addressing the increasing number of students seeking on-campus housing. He explained that the additional rooms will help ease congestion, improve the learning environment, and create a more conducive setting for academic success and personal growth. Mr. Torniado also noted that renovation and improvement projects will soon follow to ensure the building meets AMCC’s standards for safety and comfort.

Faculty members in attendance expressed optimism about how the new facility will positively impact student welfare and campus life. Many recognized the acquisition as a timely and meaningful blessing that will help meet the institution’s expanding needs.
As the ceremony concluded, the AMCC community reflected on the significance of this achievement. With gratitude and renewed commitment, the institution looks forward to welcoming students into the improved dormitory spaces soon. To God be the highest glory!
