AMCC Leads Clean-Up Drive for Flood-Affected Communities in Iligan City

In response to the recent flooding that affected communities in Iligan City, the AMCC once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to service and compassion through a Clean Up Drive for flood victims. Driven by a shared mission of faith and humanitarian service, this meaningful initiative was spearheaded by the Adventist Medical Center College Campus Church in collaboration with the National Service Training Program (NSTP) of AMCC. The activity reflected the institution’s core values of empathy, solidarity, and active community engagement.

To ensure the smooth implementation of the outreach effort, Sir Novie and Pastor Selgas were designated to coordinate closely with the school’s NSTP team. Their leadership and coordination played a vital role in mobilizing volunteers, organizing logistics, and aligning efforts with the needs of affected communities.

In solidarity with the people of Iligan City, AMCC joined hands with various sectors, strengthening partnerships and demonstrating the true spirit of unity and volunteerism. The Clean Up Drive was not only about clearing debris and restoring public spaces—it was about restoring hope. Every sweep of mud, every cleared pathway, and every helping hand symbolized resilience and collective strength in times of adversity.

The activity brought together a diverse group of volunteers who generously offered their time and energy for the cause:

  • AMCC Administration
  • AMCC Faculty and Staff
  • City Government of Iligan City
  • NSTP-CWTS Students of AMCC

Through this collaborative effort, AMCC reaffirmed its role as an institution that goes beyond academic excellence—one that actively participates in community healing and recovery. The Clean Up Drive stands as a testament to what can be achieved when faith, compassion, and civic responsibility come together.

As we continue to serve, we remain committed to extending help, hope, and healing to those in need. In every challenge, AMCC stands ready—not only as an educational institution, but as a partner in building stronger, more resilient communities.
