AMCC conducted an evangelistic crusade in Brgy Manapa, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte. The event commenced with a one-day medical mission held in the gymnasium of the said barangay in close coordination with its local government officials and health workers.
Select faculty and staff joined the medical mission spearheaded by the new Community Extension and Services Coordinator, Pr. Danilo Guardarama, MAEd and the Human Resources and Development Coordinator, Ms. Roselyn S. Pacardo, RN, RM, MAN, MN in collaboration with the officers of the Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NeMM). The medical mission commenced with a devotional led by Pr. Guardarama then the orientation. During the orientation, individuals who would like to avail of the free health services were informed of the process flow – registration then free health lectures given by select faculty and staff of AMCC who made themselves available to God’s calling, then the respective health service they would want to avail. The free health services includes circumcision, dental services, and health check-ups. Prescribed medicines and vitamins were also given free of charge. Aside from AMCC faculty and staff, the event was also participated by doctors and nurses, some of which are alumni of the college.
After the medical mission was held on June 7, 2026, three pastors Pr. Shem Movera, Pr. Rene Glenn Paglinawan, and the Chaplaincy head, Pr. Henry Sucuaje, MAEd, remained in Agusan Del Norte to labor and win souls for Christ. The nightly series entitled, “Ang Katapusang Pitik sa Orasan” lasted for two weeks with 7 nightly topics including: (1) Depression, (2) Oras sa Kasamok, (3) Panahon sa Pagtagad, (4) Oras nga Nawala, (5) Takna sa Pagbasol, (6) Gutlo sa Pag-Antos, and (7) Giya sa Kaugmaon).
While three pastors remained and continued to labor for Jesus’ footstool, those who participated in the medical mission and the other AMCC workers who stayed in the campus due to various responsibilities that they are also fulfilling, continued supporting the evangelistic effort through fervent prayers asking God for the success of the Holy Spirit’s work in the heart and mind of those who attended the event and truly God is faithful! The event concluded with the baptism of 24 precious souls who are currently being shepherded by the Northeastern Mindanao Mission (NeMM).
It’s truly amazing to trust in the Lord, to seek His mercies, and be granted a favorable response to prayer. AMCC rejoices with the heavenly hosts of every opportunity afforded to the college to reach out to our fellow beings and care for them physically and spiritually. God be praised and glorified. Always.
