STUDENT PEER FACILITATOR ORGANIZATION (SPFO)

The Guidance Services Office oversees the Student Peer Facilitator Organization (SPFO), which comprises students possessing fundamental counseling skills. The office sponsors a seminar workshop or training program on “peer facilitating” for prospective members who satisfy the adviser’s screening criteria, which include admission test results, Orias-Emotional Intelligence Inventory (O-EII), and an interview. SPFO membership is open only to bona fide college students who have completed at least one term of residence.

As an extension of the Guidance Services Office, the SPFO offers guidance and counseling services to college students, while also participating in community extension services and assisting with various college activities.
